What is the Edmonton Heritage Festival?

When is it? (2025)

  • Our tent set-up starts Tuesday, July 29 to Friday, August 1.

  • Actual Heritage Festival Days: Saturday, Aug.2 | Sunday, Aug.3 | Monday, Aug.4

  • Tear-down days: End of Monday, Aug.5

Where is it?

  • Borden Park (7507 Borden Park Rd NW, Edmonton, AB T5B 4W8)

Who can volunteer?

  • Anyone! Feel free to join us for one or more shifts!

    • *If you are going into post-secondary (AKA enrolled) or in post-secondary, you are eligible to win scholarship money with the Edmonton Heritage Festival and the organizers, Société France-Edmonton*

How long are shifts?

  • Around 4 hours, times of shifts can be viewed on our SignUp page

​

Scholarship opportunities?

  • Only for post-secondary students (includes those who are going into Canadian post-secondary schools and are currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution in a full-time program)

  • With at least 10 hours of volunteering, you can be entered in a draw to win money (from $250-$1000) with the Edmonton Heritage Festival

  • You can have multiple entries into the draw by completing more shifts!

SFE Scholarship:

  • We will be awarding the top 30 post-secondary students with $100

    • Top 30 means the students who have volunteered the ​most hours!

    • Post Secondary Students include those enrolled for the upcomming Fall semester
